The scientific journal TEKNUSAT is a publication carried out by the Faculty of Engineering of the Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo Catholic University, whose objectives are:

• Offer a scientific journal with high quality standards allowing the possibility of exchanging knowledge, opinions and research results that contribute to the development of engineering in the world. 
• Promote the investigative spirit among engineering professionals that allows generating and disseminating scientific research and innovative ideas in the national and international scientific community.

TEKNUSAT is an open access journal that publishes biannually original scientific articles derived from the results of scientific research and experimental or simulation studies in engineering sciences, technology and related disciplines.

The journal guarantees that all published articles have been subject to peer review or referees, and are highlighted for their knowledge and contributions to the subject.

The Magazine publishes articles in Spanish and English.

In 2019, the engineering faculty of the Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (USAT) presented the proposal for the creation of the scientific journal "TEKNUSAT" to the Vice President for Research, said proposal was approved and the journal began the calls for reception. of scientific articles, which have gone through an editorial process that includes blind peer review and similarity review, those that have been approved after completing the process have been published in the issues of the journal, since 2020.

On July 26, 2022, the USAT Rectorate formalizes the creation of the scientific journal "TEKNUSAT" and the appointment of the Chief Editor in charge, through the  Rectorate Resolution 056-2022-USAT-RTDO.

The journal is constantly improving, seeking to meet the quality requirements to enter catalogs and databases that allow the "TEKNUSAT" journal to position itself as a scientific reference in engineering, technology and innovation.
