El consumo de alcohol en mujeres jóvenes: Desafíos y repercusiones en el contexto actual
Resumen
El ensayo examina el consumo de alcohol en mujeres jóvenes y los factores sociales que influyen en su comportamiento. Aunque la brecha de género en el consumo de alcohol está disminuyendo, las mujeres se enfrentan a demandas contradictorias en relación con su consumo y su desempeño de género, lo que puede tener consecuencias físicas y sociales. Se analizan los riesgos para la salud física y mental asociados con el consumo de alcohol, y se presenta una visión general de la investigación actual sobre este tema en mujeres en diferentes contextos sociales y culturales. Se enfatiza la importancia de abordar las contradicciones que las mujeres enfrentan en relación con el consumo de alcohol, y se destaca la necesidad de que los profesionales de enfermería desempeñen un papel crucial en la promoción de la salud y el bienestar de las mujeres, mediante la provisión de educación, detección temprana, prevención e intervención.
