The editorial team of the journal “Apuntes de Bioética”, following the recommendations of the Comittee on Publication Ethics (COPE), will evaluate and make decisions in cases of complaints and claims in a time not exceeding thirty (30) business days, if the case is complex, the complainant will be informed of the extension of the deadline to conclude the investigation.

The complaint or claim must be clear, precise and have data that demonstrate a breach of the editorial ethical statement of our magazine. Also - if necessary - complementary documentation must be attached such as proof or evidence that supports the claim. The magazine will determine as inadmissible complaints or claims that are beyond its scope and will refrain from initiating investigations when they are presented in an offensive, threatening or defamatory manner.
